Is Possum Place a breastfeeding friendly service?
Yes! We support and welcome breastfeeding mother’s to feed their child in our service.
Where can I find the centre policies?
  • A printed copy is freely available in the office
  • Please email the Director if you would like a PDF copy of any policies.
What do I pack in my child’s bag each day?
  • A broad brimmed hat 
  • 2-3 sets of spare clothes (season/weather dependent)
  • 5-6 nappies per day
  • Drink bottle
  • Healthy lunchbox to ensure Morning Tea/Lunch/Afternoon Tea/Late Snack (if required) can be catered too.
  • Shoes 
  • Milk and bottles – if required
  • EVERYTHING TO BE LABELLED TO AVOID MISPLACEMENT
What are the enrolment requirements for my child?
  • Two day minimum enrolment per week.
  • Fully vaccinated following the National Immunisation Schedule.
  • Pay fees using our direct debit system, Childcare Easy Pay or Centrelink’s Centrepay.
Do I receive updates of my child during the day?
Possum Place uses Kindyhub – an online platform for all communication, updates and observations. You will receive notifications throughout the day of your child’s sleep and rest, meal times, nappy changes as well as photos and observations.
What happens if the centre is already full?
  • Join our waiting list here!
  • We follow a ‘Priority of Access’ system and you will be contacted when a position becomes available for your child.
